Oklahoma Museums Association - Application deadline: Open until filled

The OMA internship program offers:

  • Practical hands-on experience in planning, fundraising and programming;
  • Scholarships to OMA training programs during internship:
  • Governance experience;
  • Use of available resources and references;
  • Assisting with general office operations.

OMA responsibilities include training/education, intern feedback and final evaluation. University supervisor responsibilities include in consultation with OMA and intern- establish the internship assignment, maintain contact with the intern/OMA and assigning an academic grade for the internship after reviewing the final evaluation provided by OMA. OMA will accept a maximum of one intern per semester.
