Does your museum have an inclement weather policy in place? Some museums follow the basic policy if the local school district is closed for inclement weather, then the museum is closed for weather. If your museum is closed for weather, please remember three simple communications: notify any scheduled staff and volunteers;  contact the media via their website;  and post the closing on your own website, facebook and phone message for visitors.
