At Museums Advocacy Day, you will:
· Learn about legislative issues affecting the museum field;
· Learn how to effectively work with your representatives in Congress;
· Receive a full day of advocacy training and issue briefings;
· Coordinate with other advocates from your state and Congressional district;
· Attend a reception with Members of Congress and staff invited;
· Make scheduled visits to the Congressional offices that represent you; and
· Take a unified message to Capitol Hill about the public value of museums!
