
Networking M!X event for OMA members on November 6 at Craft in America Exhibit

OMA members are invited to the networking M!X event on November 6, 2008. The event will take place at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum, 1700 NE 63rd Street, in Oklahoma City from 5:00pm to 7:30pm. The M!X event is free and refreshments will be served. On view will be Craft in America: Expanding Traditions, a traveling exhibition associated with the PBS television series that premiered in the spring of 2007. The exhibition provides an introduction to fine American craft and features Shaker furniture, American Indian ceramics, Amish quilts, and work by prominent 20th-century studio artists. The exhibition also includes material from the collections of Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art, Philbrook Museum of Art and the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum. Oklahoma City is one of only seven cities to host the exhibition.
