Oklahoma museums are amazing!  You and your family will learn interesting facts; discover art, history, science, music and more; and enjoy a fun-filled day visiting an Oklahoma museum.  Oklahoma museums hold vast collections and exhibits which include photographs, dinosaurs, paintings, action figures, mummies and much more. 

The Oklahoma Museums Association needs your year-end donation to the Annual Fund for Support to continue offering programs and services to museums across the state.  Below you will see a list of peers who have already supported the Annual Fund and OMA thanks them for their prompt response!  OMA is a valuable resource to museums as they serve you and the community.  In addition to memberships and grants, donations to the Annual Fund for Support allows OMA to continue providing outstanding programs and services such as workshops, seminars, lending library, traveling exhibits and more!

With the year coming to a close, we are asking you to assist OMA in its efforts to continue to serve the museum community by making a tax-deductible contribution of $50, $100, $250, $500 or more to the Annual Fund for Support TODAY!

As you know, the Oklahoma Museums Association, a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, has been fulfilling the mission of supporting Oklahoma museums with their efforts to educate, inform and entertain for 36 years!  OMA is proud to be the primary provider of information and professional development to the staff, student interns, volunteers and board members for Oklahoma's 300+ museums, historical societies, historic sites, zoos and botanical gardens, historic houses, living history museums, tribal cultural centers, and other museum-related institutions which hold vast and varying collections and exhibits. 

OMA has over 430 members, is governed by a 23-member board of directors, and is headquartered in Oklahoma City in the Science Museum Oklahoma.  OMA works with institutions throughout the state, and is regarded by its peers as one of the most active state museum associations in the country.  OMA serves a diverse audience of museum volunteers and professionals who do good work on behalf of their institutions.   The Oklahoma Museums Association Board of Directors and staff are committed to ethical practices and transparency.  You may view the most recent audit and Form 990 on the OMA website at http://www.okmuseums.org/ or contact the office at 405.424.7757 for more information.
