Call for Nominations to the 2010-2011 Oklahoma Museums Association Board of Directors

 

OMA President, Deborah Burke, has issued a call for nominations for the 2010-2011 Board of Directors. Members are invited to submit names to the Nominating Committee for consideration. This year, the Nominating Committee will present a slate of candidates for the following positions:

 

District 1 Representative

District 3 Representative

District 5 Representative

Mountain-Plains Museums Association Representative 

At-Large Representatives – six positions

OMA districts follow the same lines as the Oklahoma congressional districts.

 

Marci Donaho, Executive Director of the Jasmine Moran Children’s Museum and Immediate Past President for OMA, is the Nominating Committee Chair. Contact Marci, any committee member listed below or the OMA office by June 2, 2009, if you have suggestions for nominees, you are interested in serving or would like more information.

According to the bylaws, all persons nominated to a board position shall have been members of the Association for at least one year.
