Historic Building Glass & Glazing Workshop Offered for Museums

Historic Building Glass & Glazing Workshop Offered for Museums

Finding qualified contractors at your museum is often tough, especially on historic windows. During this in-person workshop, museum staff/volunteers will learn how to repair historic windows on their museum and how to ensure the right products are in the hands of local contractors.

Old Home Rescue will discuss different products to use and to avoid as well as provide hands-on instruction with cutting glass and putty glazing windows.

The workshop will be held Wednesday, April 5, 2023, from 9am – 12pm at Old Home Rescue at 401 S Blackwelder Avenue in Oklahoma City. Registration is $35 and limited to 15 participants. Coffee and light snacks will be provided. Register online here.

This is part of Old Home Rescue’s ongoing mini workshops on how to repair and maintain your museum’s historic buildings.
