Bring the Smithsonian to Your Town - Applications Due January 3

Oklahoma Humanities is looking for six rural towns to host Voices and Votes: Democracy in America, a traveling exhibition curated by the rock star of museums, the Smithsonian Institution.  It will tour Oklahoma between April 2024 and January 2025, and your small town could be one of the stops!

The exhibit is specifically designed for rural venues and requires only 700 square feet.  Each town selected will host the exhibit for a six-week period and receive training for complementary public programming and exhibit installation, publicity and support materials, and a $2,500 grant to support related activities.

Apply online by January 3, 2023.  Detailed information about this opportunity and the exhibit content can be found within the application, or contact Senior Program Officer, Kelly Burns, with questions at kelly@okhumanities.org or (405) 235-0280.
