Education 999 Bus Grant Coordinator

The Oklahoma History Center education department seeks a part-time individual to work 20 hours per week as bus grant coordinator. The bus grant coordinator will facilitate all aspects the application and reimbursement process providing funding to K-12 school groups in Oklahoma.

Candidates duties will include:
-Proactively communicating with applicants to facilitate process and field trip coordination in alignment with established OHC transportation grant procedures
-Coordinate with Education staff and partnering institutions to arrange field trip coordination
-Track and manage requests and reimbursement for funding, ensuring accuracy
-Actively maintain relationships with partnering institutions
-Write monthly reports for internal and external use
-Program evaluation
-Assist curators and education staff as needed
-Assist with meeting visitor groups and providing museum overviews
-Update web content in accordance with available resources relating to Black History in Oklahoma
-Other duties as assigned

Key Qualifications:
-Strong communicator, time management skills, and attention to detail
-Team player, comfortable working will all types of groups

Desired Qualifications:
-Knowledge of the Tulsa Race Massacre/ Tulsa History
-Knowledge of Black History in Oklahoma
-Preference given to candidates available between 9-2pm Monday – Thursday
