Intern Duration
Summer, May- June, 2019 (flexible time frame). Flexible schedule, will be discussed during interview process.

The Evaluation Internship at Philbrook Museum of Art will provide exposure and on the job practice in museum evaluation. Will collect qualitative and quantitative data on various museum activities. The intern will gain experience collecting and analyzing documentation of visitor learning, and visualizing evaluation findings. The internship will culminate in a presentation to museum staff of evaluative findings. Evaluation Intern must exhibit professional communication with co-workers, as well as comfort with speaking to museum visitors and community members.

Requirements

  • Upper level undergraduate or graduate students only.
  • Experience with data collection and analysis preferred.
  • Complete intern application and in-person interview
  • Background check required

Availability Requirements
Hours and workdays are flexible during summer months, fulfilling 15-20 hours per week.  Some weekend and evening availability required. Intern schedule will be determined based on candidates’ availability.
