General Tommy Franks Leadership Institute & Museum – Application Deadline: Open until filled

The Program Manager is responsible for and will serve as a spokesperson for all program activities including outreach, volunteer coordination, and partnership development including media relations and public relations for programs and special events. They will plan and oversee all events and programs under the direction of the Executive Director, more specifically Four Star Leadership, an annual high school leadership challenge, the Museum Classroom and Roadshow and Inspired Leadership. In addition, the Program Manager will oversee coordination of the Celebration of Freedom, an annual community event.  Must have ability to provide the following: Strong leadership, Vision, and Direction, demonstrated knowledge of standards and best practices for a business, museums, non-profit, or professional organization. Demonstrated proficiency in writing and public speaking to enhance the museum’s public image to expand interest and support locally, regionally, and nationally. Proven ability to work cooperatively, diplomatically, and effectively with staff, volunteers, community relations and outreach capacities. Strong business management skills.

Requirements: Four Year degree. Salary commensurate with education/experience.
