Oklahoma Museums Association Trivia Night: Smarties on June 21

Trivia, Food, Wine, Silent Auction, Online Gourd Raffle & Museum Friends—The Making of a Fun Night

The Oklahoma Museums Association is organizing another fantastic event for Oklahoma’s brilliant museums professionals. The Smarties trivia night will be on Friday, June 21 at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City. New this year is a trivia category focusing on Oklahoma museums.

This is the fourth year for the event. At the event, teams will face off in exciting rounds of gameshow-style trivia, including interesting facts from Oklahoma museums. Colleagues from the same organization can play on the same team, or there will be additional teams to mix up guests from different institutions. Winners go home with official Smarties
medals and exclusive bragging rights.

The doors open at 6 pm and the game starts at 7 pm. The event will wrap up at 10 pm. Tickets for the evening are $25 per person or $200 for a team/table of eight, and includes a game night buffet and wine. To join the fun, visit https://okmuseums.wufoo.com/forms/z7p8k9/ and register online by June 7. The evening will also include a wine pull, silent auction and raffle for a beautiful gourd. Information about the Gourd raffle, including purchasing $10 tickets can be found at www.okmuseums.org.

Smarties is going to be a ton of fun for our museum colleagues to network in a casual setting.

This evening also serves as a fundraiser for OMA with different levels of sponsorship available ranging from $100 to $2500.  Sponsors to date are National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum, Girls Gone WIne, Smith, Carney & Co., P.C., University of Oklahoma College of Liberal Studies, ITIN Museum Services, and Cherokee Communications. Sponsorship information can be found here.
