Sign Up for Septemberfest 2014

It is time to start planning Septemberfest 2014! Septemberfest takes place on the grounds of the Governor’s Mansion and the Oklahoma History Center. The date for this year’s event is Saturday, September 6, from 10:00am to 4:00pm. This annual event is designed to provide free entertainment and education to families on our state’s history, heritage, resources and traditions. It is a great way for your museum to reach the citizens (especially children) of Oklahoma.

Museums are invited to submit an educational activity proposal for this year’s Septemberfest. The goal of the Education Venue is to provide a wide variety of hands-on educational activities for children of all ages. The Education Venue is located in the oval to the west lawn of the Governor’s mansion.  Each institution will be responsible for setting up their area; tables will be set up the day before. Reimbursements will not be issued.

Please complete the online form by July 18.  The form can be accessed at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/septemberfest2014

We will be in contact with everyone who submitted an activity for the education venue at Septemberfest by July 30.
