OMA Scholarship Program
Each year, OMA awards scholarships to the Oklahoma Museum Conference and other OMA seminars and workshops. Scholarships are awarded on a demonstrated need basis to qualified applicants and cover registration fees. Travel, lodging, and per diem are not included in the scholarship award. OMA reserves the right to limit the number of scholarships available for any workshop, seminar or conference. OMA scholarship decisions are final. Priority will be given to individuals/organizations who have not received a scholarship from OMA in the past year to attend training.
2024 OMA Conference Scholarships
There are three types of scholarships available for the 2024 Oklahoma Museum Conference. The deadline to apply is July 19, 2024.

Conference Registration Scholarships provide conference registration only. Workshops and events are not included. You must be a member of OMA to apply.
Conference Speaker Scholarships are for speakers who are only able to attend their session and not the conference. Workshops and events are not included. You do not have to be an OMA member to apply.
Carolyn Watson Rural Oklahoma Community Foundation Scholarships provide a workshop, conference registration, and events for individuals residing in/museums located in Adair, Atoka, Bryan, Caddo, Cherokee, Choctaw, Coal, Haskell, Johnston, Kiowa, Latimer, McCurtain, McIntosh, Okfuskee, or Pushmataha counties. You do not have to be an OMA member to apply.
OMA Seminar and Workshop Scholarships
To qualify for an OMA scholarship, an applicant must:

- Be a member in good standing of the Oklahoma Museums Association

- Complete the seminar and workshop scholarship application form here. Does not apply to conference workshops.

- The deadline to apply for an OMA scholarship is ten days prior to the program registration deadline. Scholarship applications received less than ten days before the registration deadline will not be considered.
